Just a quick message that a friend of mine is putting a night on in London. Visual (moving and static) art with audio art (music mostly). Some really good people playing. I believe the phrase is up and coming, Ie nobody’s heard of them, but a lot of this is good. There is information here, and a flyer below. I would like to say that those these guys are good but I think I might be biased. They are fucking excellent though. For samples of the music of a selection of them, here’s some links. You will have to navigate the vast wasteland of poor formatting and ugly backgrounds that is Myspace though. Still, the music is mostly pretty damn good if you like your electro chopped and manic yet harmonic, exciting and interesting. And I do.
All great stuff from near where I grew up. Seriously though, check it out and form your own opinion. If you think its good, then come along to the gig if you’re anywhere near London. Sahil, this means you (and anyone you can persuade).
hey, i have pased on the messages i can, sadly there is about two people left in london, no, seriously, two. one of which is me and i still dont have acess to one of my lungs, which is bloody annoying. will be staying in london for any of the weekend? if so let me know. as it is, not only am i missing your event tonight, im also not going to be able to go to australia in time for the ashes. fuck.

The gig was incredible, a brief post on the subject will up soon maybe. It really was great. My nose bled the techno was so fucking hardcore. I kid ye not (I headbutted a close friend while dancing enthusiastically to breakcore…blood everywhere a huge grin on my face). Anyway, good fun all round. Although I’m a bit of a wreck and I’m leaving for work in about three seconds. Poobags.
Pop over to Raincoaster’s blog (the one which had the communist manifesto cartoon) for a shocking (I can’t believe I’m making that pun) abuse of power in america caught on camera…almost made me cry.
