So, I’ve written about this before, kinda.
Anyway, I’m writing, because I’ve got something to write about, and it’s not misery-centric, and it mightbe interesting, and my stats have plummeted, and I’ve stopped paying attention. This gives me motivation to do something, and it really was an interesting conversation. Broad generalisations ahoy, apologies if it’s all [...]

One way you can tell a subject is particularly contentious is if you see me taking two sides of the argument on two separate occasions. Especially if I’m the one starting the argument each time and I’m the most vociferous each time.
Particularly when I still can’t decide where I stand.
And especially when I change [...]

There appears to be fire in my belly.
I was in a distracted state all through Tai Chi yesterday (extra long session) and didn’t feel settled or improved afterwards. I think my head was in an angry state yesterday (I did all the washing up, cleaned the bedroom, though you wouldn’t be able to guess, and [...]

Disgusting people in this world.
Still feel smypathy for them, it’s hard not to. People end up having grown up with a warped and stunted view of socialisation. I’m not sure how it happens (though I have my suspicions) but some people seem unable to communicate wholly and fully, naturally and openly with other people.
Their goals, [...]

So, interesting day in the news today, various bits I could mention. But what struck me as something I wanted to talk about was this business about equality in careers advice.
Obviously, I think this is a good move. It’s ridiculous how gender biased some career expectations are, and it means that we end up with [...]

Troublesome.
That’s what it is.
Troublesome.
I’ve hit the climax see. Well. Not the climax, but the crux. This is pretty much the emotional core of the novel, which, if I need to remind you, came to me whilst masturbating and hallucinating at the same time.
Fever’s do weird things, as does not sleeping. Put the two together and [...]

So what am I grumpy about today?
Well……Where to start?
We’ll ignore my immediate physical state, which is one of tiredness in the midst of a thirteen hour day of incredibly busy working. Well….we won’t ignore it, so much as briefly mention it in hopes of a sympathy vote.
Elsewhere in the Alabrain…
I work in the AV section [...]

So, thinking it was going to be more queer theory than it actually was I’ve been reading a book about challenging conventional ideas of gender and sexuality called Pomosexuals. It’s interesting, but it’s not what I hoped for, though I remain happy with the Portmanteau made of ludicrous abbreviation….I love that shit.
Anyway, it’s worth noting [...]

Innacurate title really. I’m not feeling particularly pretty and I’m not getting any sex. Still…should ramp up the stats a little.
First though, an aside. I lvoe my blog surfer, occasionally I find someone on there who I can’t remember putting in there. Brightfeather is one of these, I can’t remember what made me add her [...]

Soo…
I’ve talked about Beyond Good and Evil Before. I’ve been playing it again this weekend. I swear…I will never grow tired of that game (interesting note, the opening sequence of the game can synch up absolutely perfectly with ‘In the Court of the Crimson King’ by King Crimson….spot on..including drum breaks as Uncle Pey’j jumps [...]

Ooooh, so we’re talking about clothes and gender again. How unexpected and out on a limb for you my dear Alabaster.
Fuck you. I want to talk about it. (And I’m being a little abstract…and you can put that in your pipe for all I care.)
Anyway, an article I don’t want to link to because of [...]

So, be warned, this may not be my most forward thinking post, but I’ve been thinking about the contradictions inherent in myself recently, and thought writing about them, whilst posting some relevant videos might be something I could do on a Sunday. Apologies if I offend.
Anyway, here’s my confession. I absolutely adore sassy, sexually [...]

Edit: Just did some further reading and the preferred term for Berdache is Two Spirit (Berdache is etymologically Spanish in origin and has negative connotations…however, I don’t want to say ‘Spirituality of the Two Spirit’ as it’s repetitive. More information here.)
So, just read an amazing post by V. There are some aspects of feminism a [...]

So, I realise this may offend some, and I apologise if it sounds like I’m criticising communities of which I’m not a part…but I just want to raise some things that I find baffling about various movements and communities.
Remember that this blog is often for me to work out stuff and learn, rather than for [...]

So, I was thinking.
As a man, I exist in the dominant societal role. I am in a position of strength, and the way society expects me to act is dominant, controlling, powerful and strong.
Basically, it means that the way I’m supposed to act is full of mostly positive attributes.
If I choose that I want to [...]
